4.3.0 Release Notes
Release Date: 2026-06-25
New Features
Lifecycle actions (beta)
You can now deactivate, reactivate, delete, and cancel the deletion of Atlassian accounts, and remove users from your organization, directly from the User Browser. The actions are available in Bulk Operations and Automated Tasks, for bulk cleanup of managed accounts.
Atlassian Account Actions - Deactivate, Activate, Delete (14-day grace period), and Cancel Delete an account.
Remove from Organization - remove a user from your organization.
Per-user results - every action is recorded in the process log; a blocked action is reported as failed with a clear reason and the user is left unchanged. The full result can be exported as JSON.
One terminal action at a time - the beta lifecycle actions cannot be combined with other actions yet.
Beta: these actions are experimental. The Atlassian platform does not yet expose how a user was provisioned, so User Manager attempts the action and surfaces any failure rather than preventing it in advance. Actions on SCIM-provisioned accounts (manage these in your identity provider) and on external accounts are blocked with a clear message. Once Atlassian exposes a reliable provisioning-source signal, action availability will adapt to each account type.
