Troubleshooting

Below are some common issues and how to resolve them:

  1. Blank Space Instead of Embedded Objects

    • Ensure you’re logged into Confluence with permissions to view the page.

    • Refresh the page or clear your browser cache and try again.

  2. Failed Connection to HubSpot

    • Verify your HubSpot login credentials and account status.

    • Make sure no firewall settings or proxy configurations are blocking HubSpot.

    • Re-initiate the connection from the App Configuration in Confluence.

  3. Objects Not Appearing in the Dropdown List

    • Confirm that you have created the object in HubSpot and it’s set to “Published” (not in draft mode).

    • Log out and log back in to HubSpot for Confluence if your form was created after your initial connection.

  4. Permission Errors

    • Double-check both Confluence space/page permissions and your HubSpot user role.

    • If you can’t embed, you might not have “Create” or “Edit” permissions on the page.

  5. Macros Conflicting with Another Add-on

    • Disable other macros that might embed external scripts and check if the form appears.

    • Raise a support ticket if you suspect a conflict with a specific Confluence app.
