Hide Internal Comments (Jira Service Management)

When using the monday.com for Jira integration with a Jira Service Management (JSM) project, internal Jira comments, typically meant for internal agent collaboration, are visible by default on the linked monday.com item. This may lead to sharing information with external stakeholders unintentionally.

What This Feature Does

The Hide Internal Comments setting allows you to disable viewing and posting internal comments in monday.com for JSM projects. When enabled, internal Jira comments will be hidden from appearing on the linked monday.com item, ensuring only public-facing communication is visible.

How to Configure

1. Navigate to the Settings tab in the monday.com for Jira configuration screen.

2. Under "Hide Internal Jira Comments", you have two options:

   • Apply globally by checking the box:
     Disable viewing and posting internal comments in monday.com for all JSM Projects.

   • Apply to specific projects only by selecting the relevant projects from the dropdown.

3. Click Save to apply your changes.
