Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

Can I use PDF Embed for Confluence to embed any PDF?
Yes. The PDF app will embed any pdf published at a publicly available URL.
If you encounter any problems embedding a PDF, please check if the file has any restriction, i.e. password protection.
Is there any limit to the size of pdf files that can be embedded?
PDF files under 10 Mb are better handled by PDF Embed for Confluence. You can downsize pdfs with online resources like https://pdfhost.io/. Please note that this resource is mentioned only as an example and should not be seen as an endorsement.
Can I use PDF Embed for Confluence to upload PDF files from my local disk?
Due to security reasons, we currently don't support direct pdf uploads. However, you can use any online service that generates a public link to host a pdf file, like https://www.pdf2go.com/. Please note that this resource is mentioned only as an example and should not be seen as an endorsement.
If the URL for an embedded file disappears, will the embedded PDF also disappear from Confluence?
PDF Embed for Confluence displays PDF files from its own servers. For that reason, it can still serve files that have become unavailable at the original public URL.
