What permissions do I need to use Smartsheet for Confluence?

You just need to be a Confluence user in order to be able to use Smartsheet for Confluence. Additionally, you would need access to Smartsheet public links or a Smartsheet account if you want to embed content.

Who can view the Smartsheet contents I embed into Confluence, and can I control this?

Anybody that has page view permissions can access the embedded Smartsheet content. You can control this by adding page restrictions directly on the Confluence page.

Do I need a Smartsheet account to use Smartsheet for Confluence?

No, an account is only needed if you want to grant oAuth permissions.

You can always embed Smartsheet data via a publish link and view or interact with it without a Smartsheet account.

Yes, if they have access to the Confluence page where the Smartsheet data is embedded, they can interact and contribute to the project.

No, all users will see the same data and the same view.

Can a table be embedded in other Atlassian products, such as Jira?
