Issue Translation for Jira Service Management works seamlessly with Appfire's Chat for Jira Service Management.

When both apps are enabled in the same project, customers and agents can chat in different languages and the app will translate their messages automatically.


 
 


Some things to note:

  • It's recommendable to choose the invisible mode in the app's configuration.
  • Messages sent by agents from the chat dashboard can also be translated. Simply remember to:
    • send the message as an internal comment
    • start it with the #translate command

  • This setup is compatible with both the chat in the customer portal and the chat widget in any external website
