How do people find out that someone is out of office?

The app sends no email, digest or subscription of any kind, so people see an absence rather than being told about it.

It shows in the work item's Details column as Assignee Availability, on the Team Availability tab, in the comment the app posts when a rule hands a work item to a coverer, and optionally in board card colours.
