Release Notes

This section carries the notes we publish when a change is bigger than a version note can hold: what changed, when, and what it means for a setup you already have. The newest is first. The app's Atlassian Marketplace listing shows the current version and the notes released with it.

Notes and changes

  • Out of Office on Atlassian Forge - 31 August 2026. The app now runs on Atlassian Forge rather than Atlassian Connect. An administrator upgrades an existing site by selecting Update in Atlassian Administration > Connected apps, and the configuration moves across on its own. Three things need setting again afterwards: the JQL search aliases, the spaces each space admin covers, and REST API tokens for any new integration.

  • Time-Based Out-of-Office Rules - 20 November 2025. A rule can carry start and end times as well as dates, so a partial-day absence no longer depends on a calendar or timesheet integration.

  • Out of Office for Jira: Pricing Changes 2025 - 2 May 2025. The pricing change that took effect on 27 March 2025, and what it meant for an existing subscription.

Notes published before the rebuild describe the Connect version's screens, and every tab was renamed in it. Where an older note names a control you cannot find, the migration guide gives the current name.

Open the app from the Apps section of the Jira sidebar and go to the Support tab. Need Help? has a Contact us button, and there is a Book a Meeting button beside it if you would rather talk it through.
