3.19.0 Release Notes

Version 3.19.0 of Out of Office Assistant brings the app back into Jira spaces and hands over approvals for Jira Service Management customers. It also makes the date search fields work again and improves the customer search.

No action needed for existing setups. If a saved filter compares outofoffice-from or outofoffice-until with =, change it to <, <=, > or >=.

New Features

Out of Office Assistant in Spaces

Inside a space, Out of Office Assistant appears in the space navigation, under More when the row is full, or in the sidebar under the space, depending on the space type. It opens Team Availability for that space only. See Interface Tour and Navigation Guide.

Approval Handover for Service Management Customers

An approver coverer on a customer's rule takes the customer's place in the chosen approval field of open requests within about an hour after the absence starts. Within about an hour after it ends, the customer is put back. See Creating Out of Office Rules for JSM Customers.

Improvements

  • Fixed outofoffice-from and outofoffice-until returning no work items. Compare them with <, <=, > or >=, using a day or a day and a time. See JQL Filter Configuration Guide.

  • Fixed the Customers list reading No users found. while later pages still held matches. The search now finds customers whose name or email address has a word that starts with what you type.
