Important Update Effective February 1, 2024!
Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

5.0.x release notes
What's new
- 5.0.0 comes with User Sync 2.0.0, see 2.0.x release notes. UserSync 2.0 has major changes, make sure to read the release notes!
- Groovy-transformations have changed, see Transformations with Groovy.
- When updating users with a UserSync-Connector, the SAML attributes are passed to the Connector and can be used in transformations there.
Upgrade consideration
- Since 5.0.0 is a major update, please make sure to have backups.
- The way to write Groovy-transformations has changed, see Transformations with Groovy.
Existing transformation scripts should keep working as before, but we strongly recommend testing these transformations explicitly after upgrading. - We changed how connectors are identified internally. Instead of numeric ids, we now use unique identifiers. Here's why you may care: any existing scripts that use our private API should be reviewed.
- If you have any problems after upgrading to version 5.0 you can always go back to the 4.x release with your old configuration. The old configuration is preserved during the upgrade and is available again as soon as you downgrade.
Contact our support if yo need any help upgrading or reviewing your existing configuration.
Data Center
This version is fully compatible with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Data Center.

Improvements
- Refinements for the UI. You may have noticed that our UI looked a bit cluttered. For this release, we tweaked margins to make everything cleaner.
- New tutorial videos to the UI. For the most crucial parts, we added some explanation videos which are embedded into the UI. Feel free to click the video buttons.
- When trying to debug multiple IdP configurations, it was hard to test a particular configuration. With this update, the "new tracker" button allows selecting the IdP configuration which should be tested.
- Additional debug information in the authentication trackers.
Bugfixes
- Logic bugs in the wizard. Under certain circumstances, you could get stuck in the wizard because the configuration became invalid.
- Authentication trackers table:
- The tracker table will load now when using adblockers.
- Under certain circumstances, the UI crashed when trying to filter the table.
- Fixed incorrect pagination when dealing with more than 10 trackers.
