Using Secure Administrator Sessions With SSO

If you are using Single Sign-On and you are an administrator, you need to re-authenticate in a slightly different way than you would do without SSO.
The reason for that is that passwords are not stored in the Atlassian instance locally anymore.

The following example is using Okta as identity provider

Click on the Re-Authenticate button

Enter your username and credentials for your identity provider:

Click OK to confirm:

Once you did that, your secure administrator session starts.
