Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

- Auth0 with Manual Provisioning
Setting up authentication via SAML with Auth0 for users that already exist in the Atlassian product. Here the administrator has to has to create and update users on Auth0 and your Atlassian Data Center or Server product by hand.

- Auth0 with Just-in-Time Provisioning
Setting up authentication via SAML with Auth0 and using Just-in-Time Provisioning. It allows to create and update users on-the-fly when they log in. See our detailed article for JIT.
