NASA - Not Another Standup App
NASA (Not Another Standup App) is a Jira Cloud app for running structured Agile meetings. It covers daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team meetings - all within Jira, with no context-switching required.
The app follows a three-phase meeting flow:
My Update - Participants prepare by adding Jira issues, Confluence pages, text items, and answering structured questions.
Live Meeting - The team meets with real-time timers, follow-up flags, and collaborative tools.
Team Journal - Every meeting is automatically documented with decisions, flagged items, and outcomes.
Key Concepts
Streams
A Stream is a recurring meeting series tied to a Jira board. Each stream has its own schedule, participants, roles, and settings. Create separate streams for different teams or meeting types.

Two Meeting Types
Standup - Quick daily status updates with per-user timers. Typically 10–15 minutes.
Team Meeting - In-depth discussions with topic-based agendas, per-topic timers, and item creation during the meeting.
Choose a type when creating a stream. You cannot convert between types on an existing stream.
11 Meeting Templates
Start with a pre-built template (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, One-on-One, and more) or create a blank Team Meeting. Templates are fully customizable after creation.

User Roles
Three roles control permissions per stream:
Scrum Master - Creates and configures streams, starts meetings, manages participants.
Coverer - Same live-meeting rights as Scrum Master, but cannot delete streams.
Participant - Prepares updates and attends meetings.
A user can have different roles across different streams.
