App Use Permissions (System/Global Permissions)
The NASA Standup App Use Permission is a global permission in Jira Cloud that controls which users can access the NASA – Not Another Standup App. By default, all users have access.
Jira administrators can modify this permission by adding or removing user groups.
Managing NASA Standup App Use Permission
Before you begin: You need the Jira administrator role to manage global permissions.
Navigate to Global Permissions
Click the Settings (⚙) icon in the top-right corner of Jira.
Select System from the dropdown menu.
In the left-hand panel, navigate to Global permissions under Security.
Scroll down to locate NASA Standup App Use Permission.
Modify User Access
Manage which groups have access to the NASA app:
Remove a group: Click Delete next to the group name.
Add a group: Click Grant Permission, select the group, and confirm.
Effect of Permission Changes
Users with the permission can access the NASA app without restrictions.
Users without the permission see an error page when they try to open the app.
