Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

Can any Confluence user see a PowerBI report without having a Power BI account?
Yes, if the report has been shared by a public link. Microsoft Power BI has three ways to share links: By a secure link, report ID, and public link. All links shared as secure or with report IDs require users to be logged, according to Power BI permissions. If the report has been shared as a public link, any Confluence user will be able to see it.
Do I need to be logged in to PowerBI to see the reports?
If you use the public embed code you won’t need to be logged in to Microsoft Power BI. However, users need to be logged in to see reports embedded with a secure embed code or with a report ID.
Can I embed Power BI boards without a Power BI account?
Yes, users with a Microsoft Power BI account can embed boards in all available modes.
Can I embed Microsoft Power BI reports without a Microsoft Power BI account?
Yes, users with no Microsoft Power BI account can also embed Microsoft Power BI reports as long as they have the links to the reports.
The command /powerbi is triggering a different Power BI app.
It can happen that different apps are called typing the /powerbi command if they are installed at the same time in Confluence. Make sure to select Microsoft Power BI embed for Confluence from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can look for the app using the Macro menu.
