Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

Can any Confluence user edit a Miro board without having a Miro account?
The ability to edit depends on the board sharing settings in Miro and cannot be adjusted from the Miro Embed for Confluence app. You should read Miro’s documentation on Embedding Editable Boards into Websites and anonymous collaboration for more information.
However, one available option to give any Confluence user the option to collaborate is to embed a public miro board with a premium account.
Can I embed boards with a free account?
Yes, users with a free Miro account can embed boards in all available modes.
Can I embed Miro boards without a Miro account?
Yes, users with no Miro account can also embed Miro boards as long as they have the links to the boards.
The command /miro is triggering a different Miro app.
It can happen that different apps are called typing the /miro command if they are installed at the same time in Confluence. Make sure to select Miro embed for Confluence from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can look for the app using the Macro menu.
