Important Update Effective February 1, 2024!
Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

Using Data Center Licenses on Server Plugins
Problem
It is not possible to generate trial licenses or purchase new licenses for 3rd party Server plugins anymore since the 15th of February 2023. From this date until February 2024 it is only possible to renew existing licenses. This is part of Atlassian's initiative to discontinue the Atlassian Server.
Nevertheless, a new trial or even a new license is needed.
Solution
It is possible to generate a Data Center Trial license or buy a Data Center license and apply it to your Server plugin. The licenses can be bought through the Marketplace and you would need to buy a license tier that matches your existing user tier or exceeds it.
When applying for the new license under “Manage Apps” an info box will appear.
Despite this message, the plugin will be fully functional. In “Manage Apps” you will also see when there are new updates available for the plugin and you will be able to update.
The only thing that will change is that a Data Center License is not perpetual. This means when the license expires the plugin will stop working which is a different behavior from the former Server licenses where the plugin continued to work.
