2. Prerequisites

Before you begin:

1. Confluence Permissions

   • You must have Confluence Admin or Space Admin permissions to install and configure apps.

   • Users who want to embed (create) HubSpot content in pages need appropriate permissions within Confluence (e.g., permission to add and edit pages, plus any space-level macro permissions).

2. HubSpot Account

   • You need a HubSpot account with access to object data such as Contacts, Companies and Deals.

   • You will connect your Confluence instance to your HubSpot account (via OAuth).

3. Internet Access

   • Confluence must be able to reach HubSpot’s services.

3. Installation & Setup

1. Install the App

   1. As an Administrator, open Confluence.

   2. Go to Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right-hand corner.

   3. Find and click on Find new apps from the Atlassian marketplace dropdown on the righthand panel,

   4. Search for “HubSpot for Confluence” in the Atlassian Marketplace.

   5. Click Try it free or Get App and follow the on-screen instructions to add it to the relevant Confluence Site.

2. Access the App Configuration

   • Once installed, you’ll find the HubSpot Configuration in the Atlassian marketplace dropdown (In Settings).

   • This is where you’ll establish the connection to HubSpot and manage global settings.
