Important Update Effective February 1, 2024!
Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

5.0.x Confluence
Changes
5.0.0
- users that are being optimized by License Optimizer and who are not currently having a license assigned can now be mentioned and assigned to page restrictions
- they'll also receive notifications for the content they've subscribed to ("watcher" in spaces and pages)
- read more about these existing and one remaining limitation(s) in our documentation
- improved configuration handling in License Optimizer to achieve better performance
- fixed a License Optimizer issue that caused users to see the "Not Permitted" page when using the "Remember my login on this computer" option on the login form
- fixed a bug that crashed the Unsuccessful Login Attempts tab in User Deactivator
5.0.1
- License Optimizer: Fixed a bug that caused unlicensed users not to be shown in the user search results
- Updated 3rd-Party Libraries
- Added Debug logging statements
5.0.2
- added compatibility for Confluence 8
- fixed another bug that caused the unsuccessful login attempts tab to crash
- fixed some links in the UI that didn't work if the instance is using a context path
- updated internal libraries
5.0.3
- fixed a bug that prevented users from being updated when they didn't have an e-mail address set
5.0.4
- added a missing check for available licenses when adding content subscribers to the license group
- as a result, more licenses than available were consumed, causing the Confluence instance to be in read-only mode
- please consider decreasing the inactivity period from 30 to 15 minutes again; read more about it here
- whenever a user is added to the license group as part of the notification workarounds, an admin user account in Confluence is now impersonated to perform the operation
- the audit log will reflect that accordingly so that it doesn't look like users managing this themselves
- removed an unnecessary method call in the User Deactivator Bulk Operations tab if no Time Since Last Activity filter was applied
5.0.5 - 5.0.6
- Jira-only releases
The version below has been removed because of reportings about problems with License Optimization
Version 5.0.8 is the next official version after that.
5.0.7
- Fixed a performance issue causing results in the bulk user operations browser taking a very long time to load
5.0.8
- License Optimizer: fixed an issue causing performance degradation of the Atlassian instance
- License Optimizer: fixed the issue that version 5.0.7 was suffering from, causing users not to be removed from the group providing licensed access
- Bulk User Operations: A performance improvement introduced with version 5.0.5 has been rolled back since it caused problems with License Optimizer for some customers (see above). We are going to address that issue again in an upcoming release.
