2. Prerequisites & Requirements

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

• Access to Jira: You must be a Jira administrator to install and configure apps in Jira.

• HubSpot Account: With sufficient permissions to create a connection between Jira and HubSpot using the OAuth authentication method.

• Supported Jira Versions: Jira Cloud & Jira Service Management.

• Supported HubSpot Tiers: Free, Starter, Professional, or Enterprise. The integration is particularly valuable if you leverage custom properties.

3. Installation & Initial Setup

1. Install the App

   1. As an Administrator, open Jira.

   2. Go to Recommended for your team on the lefthand panel and click on Explore more app.

   3. Search for “HubSpot for Jira” in the Atlassian Marketplace.

   4. Click Try it free or Get App and follow the on-screen instructions to add it to the relevant Jira Site.

2. Access the App Configuration

   • Once installed, click on Manage apps, which can be found by clicking the More actions icon next to Apps in the lefthand panel.

   • Find the HubSpot for Jira Configuration listen under Apps in the lefthand panel.

   • This is where you’ll establish the connection between HubSpot and Jira, as well as manage global settings.
