Important Update Effective February 1, 2024!
Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

What's new
- Support for Communardo User Profiles.
- Improved Groovy attribute transformations.
Upgrade Consideration
- A lot of changes happened in the background behind Groovy transformations. If you're using custom Groovy based attribute transformations, please check that user attributes are assigned properly after upgrading. There may be edge cases where adjusting the Groovy code is beneficial or required. If unsure, please open a support ticket and attach your configuration before upgrading so we can validate it.
- If you are upgrading from User Sync 1.9.x standalone:
- User Sync 2.1.x is a major update. Please make sure to have backups.
- We changed how connectors are identified internally. Instead of numeric ids, we now use unique identifiers. Here's why you may care: any existing scripts that use our private API should be reviewed.
- We have introduced a new configuration with a lot of structural changes. Again, make sure to update any scripts that use User Sync configurations.
- If you have any problems after upgrading to version 2.0 you can always go back to the 1.9 release with your old configuration. The old configuration is preserved during the upgrade and is available again as soon as you downgrade to 1.9.
