1.3.0 (Additional Version Update)
Released on 12 May 2025 for Jira Cloud
We’re excited to introduce a new privacy control for Jira Service Management (JSM) integrations!
With the new “Hide Internal Jira Comments” setting, you can now prevent internal (private) JSM comments from being viewed or posted in HubSpot. This gives your team greater control over sensitive information and ensures only customer-facing updates are shared externally.
How it works:
Global Enable/Disable:
Hide all internal comments across every JSM project by simply enabling the “Disable viewing and posting internal comments in HubSpot for all JSM Projects” option.Project-Specific Control (Optional):
If you prefer to restrict internal comments only for selected projects, use the dropdown to specify which JSM projects the rule should apply to.
Tip: If you leave the selection empty, the rule will apply to all JSM projects by default.Important:
You can select more projects here than in the “Specify Projects” section, as Jira issues from other projects can still be linked to HubSpot. To keep all internal comments hidden, make sure to include every relevant JSM project. This ensures no internal notes are inadvertently exposed when linking issues from additional projects.
This update helps your team maintain confidentiality, comply with internal processes, and provide a safer integration between Jira and HubSpot.
