App Use Permissions (System/Global Permissions)

The NASA Standup App Use Permission is a global permission in Jira Cloud that controls which users can access the NASA - Agile Meetings for Teams app. By default, all users have access to this permission.

Jira administrators have the ability to modify this permission by adding or removing user groups as required.

Managing NASA Standup App Use Permission

1. Navigating to Global Permissions

To manage the NASA Standup App Use Permission, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Jira as an administrator.

  2. Click on the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select System from the dropdown menu.

  4. In the left-hand panel, navigate to Global permissions under the Security section.

  5. Scroll down to locate NASA Standup App Use Permission.

2. Modifying User Access

Administrators can modify who has access to the NASA Standup app by managing groups assigned to this permission:

  1. Locate the NASA Standup App Use Permission in the Global Permissions list.

  2. To remove a group, click Delete next to the group name.

  3. To add a new group:

    • Click Grant Permission (if available).

    • Select the group you wish to add.

    • Confirm your changes.

3. Effect of Permission Changes

  • Users with the permission can access the NASA Standup app without restrictions.

  • Users without the permission will encounter an error page when attempting to use the app.
