Copy and Paste Previous Standup Updates

NASA lets you copy items from your previous standup into the current preparation. This saves time when tasks span multiple days.

How to Copy Previous Updates

The Copy Previous feature is available on the My Update screen for each standup question.

  1. Open My Update for your standup stream.

  2. Click the Copy icon next to a question title. The icon looks like a clipboard and appears to the right of each question heading.

The Copy Previous icon is available next to each question in your update.

What Gets Copied

The Copy Previous feature transfers the following item types from your last meeting:

  • Jira issues that were part of your previous update

  • Text items you added manually

  • Item comments (optional, controlled by the Include Item Comments checkbox)

Copied items are independent of the originals. Editing or removing a copied item does not affect the previous meeting's record.

Copy Previous works best for recurring tasks. Items that are no longer relevant can be removed after copying.
