Due to recent changes in Jira and Confluence, we've made the tough decision to discontinue the OpenID Connect (OIDC)/OAuth app and no longer provide new versions for the newest Jira/Confluence releases as of January 31, 2024.
This is due to some necessary components no longer shipping with Jira/Confluence, which would require some extensive rewrites of the OIDC App.

You can reconfigure notifications for status updates from the "Notifications of Status Updates" section within the app settings.

Yes, Slack notifications can be configured to notify all users that a standup meeting is about to start.

No, only the scrum master is able to configure the notifications.

Yes, with notifications being sent in Slack, users simply have to mute their Slack notifications if they do not want to be disturbed.

No, notifications are sent out to dedicated Slack channels or via email invitations.
Can notification preferences be set globally for all NASA standup streams, or must they be configured individually?
Notifications have to be configured for each individual standup stream.
How does NASA ensure that notifications do not disrupt users outside their working hours?
Notifications are set up by the Scrum Master or Administrator, if a user does not want to be disturbed by the Slack notifications they have the option to mute the Slack channel directly. This is not handled through the NASA app.
Can notifications from NASA integrate with team communication platforms like Slack or Microsoft Teams?
Yes, notifications can be configured to be delivered via Slack.
Are there in-app announcements or pop-up alerts for newly added features or updates to NASA?
No, new updates and features regarding the app can be found in the app's release notes.
Does NASA allow users to schedule notification delivery times to match their standup timings?
Yes, notification scheduling times can be customized to your meeting times - please read more here.
Can notification settings be imported and exported for team members who are moving across different NASA streams?
No, notification settings cannot be exported or imported with the team members - notifications are set up per standup stream and not per participant.
What visual indicators are used in NASA to highlight unread notifications or important alerts?
There are no visual indicators to highlight alerts or notifications.
How can team leaders set notifications to alert them of incomplete updates or missing standup inputs in NASA?
There is currently no way to inform participants about incomplete or missing standup items. The current use of notifications is simply to remind users to prepare their updates, as well as a meeting reminder.
